My "cronuts sold like hotcakes..." were the exact words I heard when I asked how my cronuts went on their inaugural debut at the Adelaide Central Market, Stall 66 - Providore opposite Lucia's. It looks like I will be getting another order for next Friday so I have my fingers crossed that this is the start of bigger things for Andy's Organic Market.

Oh and don't forget the Fullarton Markets are on next Saturday, the 27th of September at the Fullarton Park Community Centre on the corner of Fisher St and Fullarton Road, Fullarton, South Australia from 09:00am - 01:00pm. Our second Fullarton Market Day was another great day for Andy's Organic Market. It's really nice to see customers returning and becoming regulars. It has also been a great way of catching up with old friends, school teachers and neighbours as well as making new ones.

FYI - we made 45 sales in 4 hours, sold 24 cronuts, 72 pirags, 11 Brownies, 6 Crumpets and gave away one Rooster. In fact the Rooster was great advertising as many people came over to check it out especially when it started to crow. One person thought it was a Mobile Phone Ringtone and another thought it was a toy. We made one little Chinese Boy very happy with his new pet and gave away our other Rooster the day before so our chook pen is a far more peaceful environment now.

Apologies to the stall-holder next to us who thought the Rooster crowing was embarrassing? I thought it was hilarious and it certainly made it feel like a real Farmer's Market.

Following on from our huge first Market Day at the Fullarton Markets in July I am pleased to announce Andy's Organic Market will once again be making an appearance selling homemade Crumpets, New York Style cronuts, Latvian Pirags and Lara's Chocolate Fudge Brownies.

First of all a big thank you to everyone who has come out and said hello to us at my Farmer's Market's and a huge thank you to all those who have supported me and bought my products. This little venture (Andy's Organic Market) is a passion of mine and it makes me very happy to see satisfied customers and friends.

This coming Saturday (23/08/14) is our next Fullarton Market Day so please come along and say hello. We sold out of my cronuts and Pirags by 11am last market so I am making a quadruple batch to keep up with demand. The stall holder next to me said that he and his Brother thought that our stall was the busiest one at the Fullarton Market last month. This weekend I plan to do it all again - bring on Saturday!!!

Despite the cold weather and drizzle we managed to have a great morning at the Old Barn Market at Urrbrae this morning. We sold out of my Cronuts and Pirags, Lara's Brownie's were popular once again and my homemade crumpets were a hit in the cold weather. My best story of the day is about a little boy, about 9 years old who spotted my cronuts, he made several enquiries about them and brought his Mum over several times to show her. He eventually came back with his Mum and bought my last two cronuts which I gave them at a discount as he bargained me down. He told me he had to play his Mum at Rock, Paper, Scissors at win twice before she finally gave in and got them for him. After he took his first bite his Mum asked if they were as good as the ones they buy in the shop and he said that mine was better "the best he had ever had!!!" Made my day....

Welcome to my Website and first Blog for Andy's Organic Market. I am praying for some good weather tomorrow as I watch the rain come tumbling down on this cold Friday Morning. I need to finish building this Website and publish it so I can concentrate on preparing for Market Day at the Urrbrae Barn Market tomorrow morning.
